• All packages should be accompanied by a completed sample analysis request form.

Food and beverage samples should be sampled aseptically into either a Whirl-Pak bag or a rigid plastic sample cup.

• For quantitative analyses, 50g (minimum) should be sampled
• For qualitative analyses, 500g (if possible) should be sampled

• Environmental swabs should be taken with pre-moistened sponges, or stick type swabs.
• Swabs should be returned to either their original vial or to a Whirl-Pak bag.

• All sample types should be placed in a cooler with Blue-Ice Paks and shipped via overnight courier.

• If the samples are to be shipped on Friday for Saturday delivery, it is essential that a sticker be placed on the outside of the shipper.
